Decadent BlueBerry Whipping Cream with Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Duncan Hines Angel Food Cake Mix
  • (Ingredients according to box instructions)
  • 2/3 cup seedless jam. BlueBerry or Strawberry
  • 1 1/2 cup whipping cream 35% (Old fashioned)
  • 2/3 cup sugar (or amount for your taste of sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Fresh fruit to match or compliment the whipping cream flavor.
  • Your Duncan Hines apron to keep you clean :)

Directions

  1. Prepare the Angel Food Cake Mix According to instructions on the box & cool Cut in to slices for addition of the whipping cream & fruit and place on fancy plates.
  2. Take the whipping cream and whip until thickened, adding vanilla and sugar as it thickens. Once it has become whipped then add the seedless jam and mix until well blended, light & fluffy.
  3. Add the fruit to the plates of cake and top with the whipping cream.
  4. Variation: Use Puff Pastry from prepackaged product instead of cake.
