Moist and Chewy Caramel Apple Cake

An ideal company or family dessert


  1. 1) make cake as directed on box
  2. 2) spread batter in pan
  3. 3) sprinkle brown sugar on top of cake
  4. Then cocount and nuts
  5. 4) bake as directed or until done
  6. 5) cover loosely with aluminum foil if
  7. Topping is becoming too brown
  8. 6) meanwhile combine eveporated milk and
  9. Caramels over low heat until mixture is smooth
  10. 7) pour over hot cake
  11. 8) cool completely
