Red Velvet Waffles

Possibly the best red velvet waffles recipe! A great recipe for breakfast or part of any dessert. Give it a try.


  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Whisk together cake mix, eggs and milk until smooth.
  3. Mix in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter on waffle iron and cook per instructions.
  5. Scoop both cans of frosting into a bowl.
  6. Crush ½ cup of raspberries, or use your favourite raspberry jam, and mix into frosting.
  7. Serve waffles warm topped with the frosting and garnished with the remaining raspberries or jam.

Wow this is a great idea! I would have not thought to use my waffle iron to make a 'dessert' waffle. I am going to try this!
