Honey Ricotta Vanilla Strawberry Jars

Try something new with these delightful cakes-in-a-jar. Perfect for elegant parties or picnics.


  1. Prepare and bake French Vanilla Cake Mix according to package directions for a 9 x 13-inch cake pan; let cool and cut into ½-inch cubes.
  2. Blend ricotta cheese, mascarpone and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
  3. Spoon ½ cup cake cubes into bottoms of jars, gently pressing down with spoon. Top each with ¼ cup ricotta mixture, drizzle with 1 teaspoon honey, sprinkle with ½ tablespoon almonds then ¼ cup sliced strawberries. Repeat. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be made up to a day ahead.
