Breakfast Loaves

These are excellent and freeze well. Great for bakes sales and also as gifts.


  1. Heat oven to 350. Grease bottoms of 2 loafs pans with shortening, lightly flour.
  2. Beat cake mix, walnuts, butter, honey, and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pans.
  3. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife around sides of pans to loosen loaves; remove from pans. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
