Austrian Fruchtbrot Aka Fruitcake

A light, white alternative to heavy fruitcake... my favourite and made yearly for us by my mom. As children our teachers used to get a loaf and they never complained!

Directions

  1. Mix all ingedients and knead to a dough.
  2. Form two loaves
  3. Bake 350 Degrees F for 30-40 min
  4. Glaze the baked product with melted butter and powdered sugar
  5. Keep well wrapped to insure freshness for later. Long shelf life.
