Beer Cupcakes with Maple Frosting and Bacon "Sprinkles"

Vanilla cupcakes with a hint of beer with a sweet, maple buttercream frosting and candied bacon bits!


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Line cupcake pan with liners.
  3. Combine cake mix, beer, eggs & melted butter in large bowl.
  4. Mix & bake according to box.
  5. Remove cupcakes from oven, set aside.
  6. Raise oven temp. to 400F.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Place bacon in single layer.
  9. Spread brown sugar evenly onto bacon.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  11. Set aside to cool.
  12. Combine butter, beer, vanilla extract & maple syrup.
  13. Beat until fluffy.
  14. Frost cooled cupcakes.
  15. Break up cooled bacon & sprinkle on top.
