Cupcakes With Faces

These cupcakes are great for young children and school baking events. My now grown sons absolutely loved them and so did their school. They always sold out.

Ingredients

  • Any flavour cake mix(although I usually use white cake mix) and any frosting.
  • I use white icing and colour it pink and baby blue with food colouring.
You will need an assortment of candies:
  • Smarties, jube jubes, jelly beans, those small pink and blue sprinkles you find in all sorts.
  • Red string licorice for the mouth.
  • Black string licorice for hair.
  • An assortment of sprinkles for hair.
  • You can choose just about any soft candy you like.

Directions

  1. Just go by the cake mix instructions for cupcakes. I use cupcke liners inside the tin. You can use store bought icing(any flavour), although I prefer white and colour it myself with food colouring or make your favorite frosting. This is an easy and very fun recipe.
