Olde Fashion Sundae Cupcakes

A new spin on a olde fashioned treat, revived in a cupcake!! To be enjoyed by young and old..

Ingredients

  • 1 box of White Duncan Hines cake mix
  • 1 box of Chocolate Fudge Duncan Hines cake mix
  • 4 Containers of Duncan Hines Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 24 Maraschino cherries
  • Finely chopped Peanuts
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Red food colouring

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Place cupcake liners in the cupcake pan.
  3. Make the cake mixes according to instructions.
  4. Spoon the cake mix in the cupcake cups , alternating from white to chocolate.
  5. Bake according to the time on the back of the package.
  6. Let cupcakes cool.
  7. Add a couple of drops of red food colouring to 2 containers of the cream cheese frosting
  8. Add white and pink frosting in a bag and pipe it on the cupcakes, drizzle the chocolate syrup over top, sprinkle with peanuts and top with a cherry.
