Strawberry Cupcakes

Super delicious, wonderfully fresh tasting! Starting with a Duncan Hines boxed mix & frosting creations

  • For cupcakes
  • 1 box of Duncan Hines white cake mix
  • 1 box of strawberry jello
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh mashed strawberries
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • For frosting
  • Duncan Hines frosting creations base mix
  • Duncan Hines frosting creations Strawberry Shortcake flavor pack

Directions

  1. Directions
  2. Preheat of as directed on cake mix box.
  3. Using cupcake liners, prepare a muffin tin for 24 cupcakes
  4. DO NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS / INGREDIENTS ON BOX
  5. In a blender add 1-1.5 cups of strawberries,
  6. 3/4 cup of vegetable oil and 1/2 cup of milk.
  7. Pulse or blend until mixture has reached desired consistency,
  8. I like mine with some berries still a little chunky.
  9. In a large bowl add boxed caked mix, strawberry mixture,
  10. 1 box of jello and 4 eggs.
  11. Mix for one minute on low until blended and then 2 minutes on high until light and fluffy.
  12. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake as directed using time indicated on the cake mix box.
  13. Allow to cool
  14. Mix up your Duncan Hines frosting creations and frost away!
  15. I garnished my cupcakes with fresh whole strawberries.
