Hockey Fun Cupcakes

Yummy Fun Cupcakes for a hockey party

Ingredients

Cupcakes:
  • - 1 box, Confetti Cupcake Mix
Butter Cream icing:
  • - 1/2 cup, butter
  • - 1/2 cup, shortening (or 1/2 cup butter)
  • - 3-6 tbsp. very cold milk (depending on consistency)
  • - 1 tsp. vanilla
  • or
  • - 1 pkg. frosting Creations (your choice)
Decorations:
  • - 1 to 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips or melting candy chocolate disks

Directions

  1. -Mix and bake cupcakes as directed
  2. -After butter/shortening is at room temp. beat icing ingredients together until smooth adding milk in small amounts until desired consistency is reached
  3. -Decorate cooled cupcakes with icing
  4. -In a double boiler or in the microwave melt the chocolate. If the chocolate stiffens up add oil a tsp. at a time and stir until smooth
  5. -Pipe out your melted chocolate into hockey stick shaped decorations and finish with small amount of remaining icing above

Great idea using cup cakes over a cake means less clean up and the hockey stickers ingenious! Thanks
