the easiest shortbread ever made, no fail!

Directions

  1. combine ingredients mix a bowl and mix with an electric blender till whipped. about 5 minutes
  2. you can scope the dough out and make thumb print cookie,
  3. roll into a 2 inch tube and wrap in foil and freeze, slice then bake
  4. use a cookie press
  5. bake at 350 degrees until lightly golden

Duncan Hines is a well known company and someone should have proof read these directions before they were posted. This is embarrassing!!!

This is basically the recipe my family has used for 60 years!!!!! Got it from my mom's friend who was of Scottish descent.

I have tried the recipe with margarine and butter, could not tell the difference, I also added a teaspoon of almond flavoring. Great favorite anytime.

Delicious! However I used butter instead of maragine for the true shortbread flavour

These sound easy and delicious. I love ShortBread Cookies, they've always been my favorite.
