These bite-sized goodies are made with our Duncan Hines Swiss Chocolate Cake Mix. A sprinkling of rice cereal gives Swiss Chocolate Crispies a satisfying crunch.
- Preheat oven to 350 ºF. Grease cookie sheets.
- Combine cake mix, 1/2 cup shortening, butter, eggs and water in large bowl. Beat at low speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Fold in 1 cup cereal. Refrigerate 1 hour.
- Crush remaining 2 cups cereal into coarse crumbs. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in crushed cereal. Place on cookie sheets about 1-inch apart.
- Bake 11 to 13 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Remove to wire racks.
