Double Chocolate Almond Cookies

Decadently dark, these Chocolate Almond cookies are made with Devil’s Food cake, chocolate chips and almonds.


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine cake mix, eggs, salt, almond extract and oil in large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended. Stir in chocolate chips and rough chopped salted almonds.
  3. Mixture will be stiff.
  4. Shape dough into 24 1½" balls. Place 2" apart on prepared baking sheets (parchment paper or non-stick foil).
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes until cracked on top. Cookies will look moist. Do not over bake.
  6. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets. Remove to cooling racks. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
