In stead of oil, I use regular salted butter, drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet, and dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar. Everyone always wants the recipe for my rich Butter Cookies!

I forgot to mention I used Dunkan Hines Classic Yellow Cake for my Butter Cookies.

Easy and look good but not much flavor. If I make these again I would add cocoa powder or plan to make them filled sandwich cookies.

I forgot to mention that I made these with dark choc fudge cake mix.
