Pineapple Upside Down Cake

  1. preheat oven 350
  2. Melt 1/3 cup butter in 9X13 pan put in 1 cup brown sugar and 1 teas corn syrup
  3. place pineapple slices in pan and put 1 cherry in centre of each ring
  4. add first 4 ingredients in bowl and beat 2 minutes,
  5. pour this mix over the pineapple
  6. bake for 40-50 minutes
  7. test doneness with toothpick . Pick in the centre of cake. Should come out clean
  8. cool cake for 10 minutes.
  9. loosen sides of cake
  10. invert onto serving plate.
