Champagne & Strawberries Cake

A simple white DH cake mix transformed with a champagne infused strawberries in the centre and a simple champagne whipped cream frosting.


  1. Put the sliced strawberries into a jar with 1 and 1/2 cups of champagne. Let infuse overnight.
  2. As the cake is in the oven start whipping the whipping cream with the sugar and a 1/4 cup of champagne until peaks form. Chill until ready to use.
  3. Cool cake on cooling racks until room temp.
  4. Place a layer of whipped cream followed by the strawberries. On the top layer spread a thin layer of whipping cream on the bottom before placing on top. Spread remaining whipping cream on sides and top.
