Delicious apple cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box DH apple caramel mix
  • 1 apple cored and finely diced
  • 1tbs vanilla extract
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2tsp fresh grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans

Directions

  1. Pour cake mix contents into large bowl
  2. Follow package instructions BUT DO NOT ADD CARAMEL TOPPING TO CAKE BATTER (dont worry were saving it for later)
  3. Fold in vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and pecans
  4. Bake as directed on package
  5. Serve warm with french vanilla ice cream and warm caramel topping
