Cake Ball Santas

Santa cake pops. Kids love them!

Ingredients

  • 1 -Duncan Hines cake mix any flavor
  • 1-Duncan Hines icing or make your own
  • 1 pkg white chocolate melts
  • 1 pkg red chocolate melt
  • sprinkles white,and or clear (bulk barn is very cheap for these in bulk)
  • light pink dusting powder (also bulk barn or Micheals Crafts)
  • black edible marker or black food color (for the eyes)
  • Paper straws or sucker sticks
  • Brown/beige food color

Directions

  1. Make Cake as per n Cool completely
  2. Crumble into crumbs
  3. Add 3-4 tbsps icing mix in using hands
  4. Roll into balls
  5. Place in freezer for 5-10 mins
  6. Melt white chocolate add 1-2 drops of brown color to create a flesh tone
  7. Dip stick in melted chocolate and insert into each ball,Place in freezer for 5 mins
  8. Dip each stick into the chocolate and cover ball completely
  9. Next melt red chocolate Dip 1/3 of each cake ball into the red chocolate to create the hat
  10. Decorate using icing to attach the sprinkles
