
A good old poke cake with a fresh twist
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 13"x9" cake pan with shortening or oil spray
- In a large bowl, whisk your cake mix, water, oil, eggs until smooth. Add in 1/2 of the lemon zest
- Pour in pan and bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool for 15 minutes and take the end of a wooden spoon and poke holes in your cake
- In a small bowl, mix the cranberry sauce, lemon juice, condensed milk and the other half of lemon zest until glossy
- Let set and serve with whipped cream
