- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Prepare, bake and cool cake according to package directions.
- Measure 1/4 cup frosting into small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high power 15 seconds; stir until smooth. Dip bottom third of pecan halves in melted frosting. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate 10 minutes or until set. Stir melted frosting into remaining frosting in container.
- Frost cake with remaining frosting. Arrange dipped pecans as desired.
