Recipe Description
These cupcakes can be made in your favorite flavor as long as the icing is white. They look very pretty and can be arranged to look like a garden.
Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • Duncan Hines Cake Mix - your favorite flavor
  • White Icing
  • Colorful molding discs (6 to 7 per cupcake)
  • Black sugar
  1. Prepare the cupcakes according to package directions.
  2. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Ice cupcakes about 1/4" thick in the center but not all the way to the edges of the cupcake.
  4. Place 6 to 7 colorful molding discs around the edge of the icing to create the "petals".
  5. Sprinkle the black sugar in a small circle in the middle of the white icing.
  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set the icing.
  7. Serve.

I haven't tried this yet but what a wonderful idea, so simple even for those who don't know how to do cake decorating.
