These Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups will give chocoholics and peanut butter lovers a reason to say "Wow!" Made with delicious Duncan Hines Swiss Chocolate Cake Mix, they are perfect anytime.
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Swiss Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 tub Duncan Hines® Creamy Home-Style Classic Vanilla Frosting
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 15 miniature peanut butter cup candies, halved
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place 30 paper baking cups in muffin cups.
- Prepare, bake and cool cupcakes according to package directions.
- Combine frosting and peanut butter in medium bowl. Stir until smooth. Frost one cupcake. Decorate with peanut butter cup candy, cut-side down. Repeat with remaining cupcakes and candies.

tryed the red velvet mix and omg the kids went nuts , the colour was so red and i even ate a cupcake they tasted home made.......was shocked as i always make home made unless i am makeing cake balls.

I have made cupcakes like this , but not with the cake mix. I used brownie mix instead but used 1 extra egg. I cut the large reese cups in half & put them in the batter. Baked them. To frost, I made peanut butter buttercream icing! Then put a 1/4 reese cup on top. I am definitely going to try this recipe too!

I made the frosting to use on a chocolate cake (instead of cupcake), it was delicious! If you like peanut butter cups, you'll love these!

is there any way i can use duncan hines to make red velvet cupcakes cause nothing isn't working for me
