Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownies swirled with artfully applied ribbons of cream cheese make for delicious Marbled Brownies.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 350 ºF. Grease bottom of 8x8-inch pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth in medium mixing bowl. Stir in sugar, egg, flour and vanilla. Beat until smooth; set aside.
  3. Place dry mix in bowl, add 2 large eggs,2 tablespoons of water and 1/4 cup oil, mix by hand until well blended (50 strokes). Spread half of brownie batter in prepared pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture over batter. Spoon dollops of remaining brownie batter over top. Swirl brownie and cream cheese batter together with a knife or spatula.
  4. Bake at 350 ºF for 36 to 39 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Chill 2 hours.

3oz of cream cheese? That doesn't seem like very much, the standard package is 250g which is almost 9oz...weird?

I have made this. You really don't need the flour in the cream cheese recipe.

Wow what can I say, brownie and cream cheese in the same recipe, mmmmm. Loved this recipe it disappeared really quick, I would recommend it to anyone, also it was pretty easy to make.
